Hindsight is Bringing its Moving Tale to Xbox and PlayStation

After launching on the PC, iOS and Nintendo Switch, Hindsight is coming to the Xbox and PlayStation next week.

This short but emotional game tackles such weighty subjects as grief and memory which would, normally, be enough to drive a game. But what makes Hindsight a little different is the means by which you explore these memories, rearranging and stepping into photographs.

It follows a woman’s life, right up to the death of her mother, as she sorts through her late mother’s home, where she herself grew up. And as, anyone who’s ever found themselves in such a situation knows, it’s likely to be a whirlwind of emotions.

We reviewed Hindsight back in August and while we found some of the interactions to be clunky, we awarded it a 7 out of 10, remarking that its “..narrative alone is so poignant and beautifully told that it’s worth pushing through for.” So, while the gameplay isn’t perfect, you should still get ready for an engaging journey.

Now it’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. There’s no news as to whether after hitting iOS, it’ll get an Android release. But if you’ve yet to dive into this tale, here’s your chance.

Like the PC, iOS and Switch versions, it’s published by Annapurna Interactive and developed by Team Hindsight. It’ll arrive December 6th via the PlayStation and Xbox stores. Or if you can’t wait, you can pick the PC version up on Steam.
