Algiers African Open 2024: Tunisia dominate with 15 medals

(TAP) – National judo teams (men and women’s) dominated Algiers African Open 2024, which ended on Sunday, bagging 15 medals (7 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze).
Oumaima Bdioui (48kg), Rahma Tibi (52kg), Chayma Sidaoui (+78kg), Maram Jmour (70kg), Zeineb Troudi (+78kg), Fraj Dhouibi (60kg) and Abdelaziz Ben Ammar (90kg) snatched the gold.
The silver medallists are Sarra Mzoughi (+78kg), Koussay Ben Ghars (100kg) and Wahib Hdiwech (+100kg). The bronze medals went to Mariem Jmour (-70kg), Ons Romdhani (70kg), Arik Akab (78kg), Aziz Harbi (-66 kg) and Yassine Grichi (90kg).
Algiers African Open 2024, held on February 17-18, brought together 150 judokas (100 men and 50 women) from 19 countries from all over the world.
