Orlando Pirates have a job on their hands to replace Thembinkosi Lorch, but it’s not beyond them.
POTENTIAL REPLACEMENTS FOR THEMBINKOSI LORCH?
ORLANDO PIRATES KEEN TO SIGN MOGAILA FOR FREE
Versatile Royal AM wide player Shaune Mogaila is now available on a free transfer, and he’s been a target for the Buccaneers for some time. According to FARPost, Pirates aren’t the only side showing an interest. Mogaila can operate on either flank of attack or defence, making him a priceless option. Although not a direct replacement, he’d be a great squad player. There is also reporedly, foreign interest in the player.
MOFOKENG IS READY TO STEP UP FOR ORLANDO PIRATES
Although initially a central playmaker, Relebohile Mofokeng has started to drift into wide areas to cause havoc against full-backs. We all know that’s where Lorch did his finest work for Pirates, so the parallels are obvious. Aside from the previously talented teenager, new man Lesedi Kapinga is also a man who can make an impact in the final third. Bucs fans haven’t seen the best of the former Sundowns man but this season could be the time. Forgotten Man Monnapule Saleng shouldn’t be written off either.
