'Happiest in the sun': Dina Asher-Smith shows off her sensational figure and washboard abs in a TINY string bikini in Antigua

Dina Asher-Smith looked nothing short of sensational as she flaunted her fit figure in a tiny string bikini on Sunday.

The champion runner, 26, shared some sizzling snaps with fans on Instagram from her holiday in the idyllic Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean.

Dina stripped off into a black two-piece as she took a dip in the sea, captioning her post: ‘Happiest in the sun.’

She teamed the look with a chic pair of cat-eye sunglasses and an eye-catching gold necklace.

Dina, who is holidaying in the tropical paradise with Ashleigh Nelson, 31, pulled her dark locks back and off her face for some fun in the sun.

Beach babe: Dina looked incredible as she posed for a selfie on the beach, showing off a holiday glow

It comes after Dina revealed her disappointment with her recent result during the European 200m final.

Despite qualifying fastest for the final by a full 0.2sec, and being the only woman of the eight to go beneath 22sec this year, she crossed for silver in 22.43sec.

While her competitor Mujinga Kambundji took gold in 22.32sec, adding to the silver she won in the 100m.

For Dina, the season can hardly be considered a severe failure when it has included a world bronze for the 200m and a personal best in the 100m.

Red hot! Late last month, Dina posed up in a racy red bikini and flashed her abs while holidaying in an undisclosed location

While there was an element of misfortune in how she lost the 100 final in Munich – Dina suffered cramps that she linked to her period – the 200m defeat appeared to be a more clear-cut case of being beaten by the faster woman on the night.

She said: ‘I’m not super happy with silver but Mujinga put together a better race. Congratulations to her but I’m not super happy. I know I am in better shape than that but at the same time I came second.

‘It’s been an up and down (season) but it’s been a good year for me. My next target is to run 10.7s so I look forward to chasing that into September but it’s been up and down. I’m not so happy with a silver. I have to take it.’

It comes after she was forced to withdraw from competing in Birmingham’s Commonwealth games due to an injury.

The sprinter couldn’t compete as a consequence of hamstring damage sustained during the 4x100m relay at the World Championships in Eugene.
