Handgemenge bei Massnahmenkritiker-Demo in Bern

Die Massnahmenkritiker versammelten sich um 19.30 Uhr auf dem Bahnhofplatz.

Der unbewilligte Demonstrationszug setzte sich kurz vor 20 Uhr in Bewegung.

Bereits letzte Woche hatten in Bern Massnahmenkritiker an zwei Abenden demonstriert.

Heute Abend demonstrieren in Bern wieder weit über tausend Menschen gegen die Zertifikatspflicht.

Schätzungsweise 1500 Menschen haben sich am Donnerstagabend auf dem Berner Bahnhofplatz versammelt, um gegen die Ausweitung der Zertifikatspflicht und den «Impfzwang» zu demonstrieren. Die Polizei ist präsent und beobachtet die Lage.

Auf Transparenten waren Parolen zu lesen wie: «Nein zur Zertidiktatur» oder «Nein zum Impfterror». Wiederholt wurde in Sprechchören «Liberté, liberté» gerufen, wie ein Reporter vor Ort berichtete. Kurz vor 20 Uhr setzten sich die Demonstrierenden in Bewegung.

Beim Bärenplatz stellten sich zwischen 30 und 40 Gegendemonstranten dem Demozug in den Weg. Es kam zu einem Handgemenge, die Polizei griff jedoch nicht ein.

Immer wieder waren auch Pfeifkonzerte zu hören. Viele Schweizer- und Kantonsfahnen waren zu sehen. Aufgerufen worden war zu der Kundgebung auf den sozialen Medien.

Aufgrund der Demonstration kommt es zu Verkehrsbehinderungen im öffentlichen Verkehr. Die Polizei musste mehrere Strassen sperren.

Die Demonstration ist laut Sicherheitsdirektor Reto Nause unbewilligt, da von den Organisatoren niemand mit der Stadt in Kontakt getreten sei. Wie bereits bei den beiden Demonstrationen von letzter Woche, wurde auch heute auf dem Bundesplatz eine Sperre erreichtet, um das Bundeshaus zu schützen.

Demonstration auch in Biel

Auch in Biel gingen am Donnerstagabend Dutzende auf die Strasse, um gegen die Corona-Massnahmen und das Zertifikat zu demonstrieren. Sie zogen vom Bahnhof her durch die Stadt und versammelten sich anschliessend auf dem Zentralplatz.
