Galatasaray are set to sign Chelsea loanee Hakim Ziyech permanently at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old winger will see an obligation-to-buy clause triggered after a successful season in Istanbul, although whether Chelsea will earn significant profit remains unclear.
Ziyech has eight goals and four assists in 21 appearances this term, including during the club’s Champions League campaign, to help Galatasaray to a dominant position in pursuit of the Turkish title.
Galatasaray are six points clear of Fenerbahce with just three games left to go in the Super Lig.
Ziyech will leave after four years under contract at Stamford Bridge, where he won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
The Morocco international scored 14 goals and got 13 assists in 107 appearances after joining in a £33.6million deal from Ajax.
Ziyech fell out of favour in his final season under Graham Potter and the new Boehly-Clearlake ownership.
He saw a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain collapse on deadline day last January despite travelling to the French capital to complete the move.
