Habeco targets a profit of VND 255 billion in 2021, down nearly 60%

On April 28, Hanoi Beer – Wine – Beverage Joint Stock Company (Habeco, HoSE: BHN) will hold its annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2021. The company has now published documents scheduled for this Congress.

According to the document, in 2021, Habeco sets the main product revenue target of 5,391 billion dong, after-tax profit is 255 billion dong, down by 8.5% and 59.2% YoY, respectively. If implemented as planned, this will be the lowest profit rate for many years of Habeco. Expected dividend payout ratio in 2021 is 6.5%.

In 2021, Habeco will continue to maintain its No. 1 position in the North and North Central markets, increase the coverage of goods, E-commerce system and supermarket channel are also planned by the company. . BHN intends to focus resources on promotions, directly competing in the popular segment, which is the strength of the company but currently has the participation of many new brands.

In terms of investment in 2021, Habeco implements an investment project on the overall corporate governance system at Habeco Trading One Member Limited Company, and at the same time completes the SAP ERP HABECO system.

Interest in 2020 increases 152.2% of the plan

According to the report, in 2020, under the double impact of the epidemic and Decree 100, Habeco’s sales volume will decline, However, after a period of social gap, the company has made a strong recovery in 3 months in a row in the summer season. By the end of 2020, sales of main products reach more than 5,893 billion dong, after-tax profit is 625.3 billion dong, up 152.2% compared to the plan set out at the beginning of the year. In the market, HABECO’s market share accounts for 38.5%. The dividend payout ratio of 2020 is being considered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the largest shareholder – holding nearly 82% of the shares.

In 2020, Habeco reached the Top 3 rankings of the beer industry in 8/2020. Not only that, the company also deployed a communication chain “Hanoi Beer Stalls for Tet 2021”, thereby increasing sales volume of products for Tet 2021. In particular, BHN launched a new product for Ha Ha Draft Beer to the market. Hanoi 500ml and 1 liter, Hanoi Beer 1890, received positive feedback from the market.
