Greaves Electric Mobility launches e-scooter Ampere Nexus starting at Rs 1,09,900
Joining the electric bandwagon, Greaves Electric Mobility on April 30 announced the launch of its first electric scooter Ampere Nexus, starting at Rs 1,09,900 (ex-showroom). The company said the e-scooter is entirely designed, developed, and manufactured in India and features “multiple first-ever innovations and class-leading specifications”.
Greaves Electric Mobility is the subsidiary of Greaves Cotton, which is an engineering and energy solutions company. The stock of Greaves Cotton was trading 3.34 percent higher at Rs 140.7 on BSE at 11:15 am on April 30.
The e-scooter, which has a top speed of 93 kmph and five riding modes, comes in four colour options – zanskar aqua, Indian red, lunar white, and steel grey, the company statement said.

The scooter is powered by a 3 kWh LFP battery with 30% extra battery life and a strong mid-mount drive. It also delivers a seamless riding experience with its 4-kW peak motor power, the statement added.
Greaves Electric Mobility said customers can book Ampere Nexus in two variants (Nexus EX and Nexus ST) online as of now. Test rides and delivery will be available at over 400 dealerships and touchpoints across the country, starting the second half of May 2024, the statement added.
