Grammy 2022 nominations: Miley Cyrus, Machine Gun Kelly unhappy over snubs

The Grammy nominations are out and Miley Cyrus is letting everyone know she’s not impressed after she became one of few high profile artists to be notably snubbed.

Cyrus and Machine Gun Kelly have both taken to social media to express their disappointment, with Cyrus tweeting a link to a Best Life article titled “30 Artists Who Haven’t Won Grammys” with the caption “In good company” referring to her fellow artists also excluded.

Kelly took a more straightforward approach, tweeting ““WTF is wrong with the Grammys.” His fifth album Tickets To My Downfall debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart late last year.

Reactions weren’t all sour, though, with Olivia Rodrigo sharing an emotional post on Instagram after she dominated with seven nominations, including in all four of the main categories.

The 18-year-old is up for several categories, including best album, best new artist, record of the year and song of the year for Driver’s License.

The singer shared a post of a cake illustrating how many nominations she received in total. Rodrigo tied with Billie Eilish on seven nominations.

Swedish pop band ABBA received their first nomination in their 48-year-history, nominated for record of the year for their song I Still Have Faith In You.
