The government committed to $940 million to the US start-up company’s bid to build a commercially viable quantum computer in Brisbane.
“This process has been clouded in secrecy, there was no public transparent expression of interest process to call for applications,” he said.
“A small number of companies were invited to participate, as I understand it, but they were required to sign disclosure agreements.
“And as I understand it the terms made it look like this had been written so that PsiQuantum was going to be the winner.”
