Another Tiger star injured as wounded list grows
Richmond coach Adem Yze swatted away suggestions of an early retirement for Dustin Martin before midfield star Tim Taranto was been sent for scans on an injured wrist in a major blow head of Sunday’s clash with West Coast.
It comes after coach Adem Yze confirmed another midfielder, Jack Ross, would also be sidelined for about two months after scans revealed a stress fracture in his foot.
The Tigers confirmed Taranto, the reigning club best and fairest, could be in doubt for the trip to Perth after hurting his wrist at training on Friday morning. .
“The Club can confirm that midfielder Tim Taranto injured his wrist at training this morning and has been sent for scans. We will provide an update when possible,” a statement said.
