Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin joked that she has quit the breakfast show after an awkward Adil Ray blunder. The weather woman kicked off the show with an awkward moment as she mistook her co-star Adil for Welsh singer and radio and television host Aled Jones.
Adil clearly wasn’t forgetting about it any time soon as he sarcastically said: “Let’s have a look at the weather now. Err Lisa is at Castle Farm in Kent. It is Lisa isn’t it? Oh Linda, sorry Linda!”
Adil’s co-host Charlotte Hawkins rolled her eyes at the banter and said: “You two!” However, as Laura tried to redeem herself, she made the mistake again.

“I’ve already text you to say I’m sorry, haven’t I? I text Aled…” she said, before quickly realising her mistake as Adil and Charlotte gasped. Adil was left speechless as Charlotte shouted: “You did it again! Laura, you’re doubling down on it!”
Laura quickly replied: “It’s just because I literally just text Adil to say that, ‘I am sorry’, and he replied, ‘who is this?'”
Red faced by her mistake, Laura then joked: “This is my last day of work at Good Morning Britain, I can say I’ve really enjoyed working with everybody, thank you so much.”
After the awkward moment, she then added: “I can think of better ways to go. We should move on!”
Adil quickly replied: “Yes! Move on, swiftly!”
