'Golden age' for film and TV sector, according to Sky boss

The UK is entering a ‘golden age’ of film and television with production at a record high, says the UK boss of broadcaster Sky.

Stephen van Rooyen, chief executive of Sky UK and Ireland, told the Mail: ‘This is the golden age of British TV and film – the jewel in the crown of our economy.’
