Lausannes Nationalverteidiger Andrea Glauser wird für seine Schwalbe im fünften Finalspiel mit 2000 Franken gebüsst. Der entsprechende Antrag der «Vogelwarte Sempach» kam auf den Schreibtisch des Hockey-Einzelrichters. Eigentlich müsste er mit einer Sperre bestraft werden.

In der Beurteilung sind sich so ziemlich alle ausserhalb des Hockey-Universums Lausanne einig: Es war die schlimmste Schwalbe der neueren Hockey-Geschichte, zumal sie in einem so hochstehenden Finalspiel gemacht worden ist.

Nationalverteidiger Andrea Glauser, mit Chancen auf einen NHL-Vertrag in der nächsten Saison, spielt nach einer leichten Stockberührung am Trikot den schwer verletzten «sterbenden Schwan». ZSC-Stürmer Derek Grant muss völlig zu Unrecht auf die Strafbank. Selbst Fussball-Kultschwalbenkönig Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior – kurz Neymar – würde Glausers Schwalbe empört als Akt der Schauspielerei bezeichnen, die es im Fussball nicht gebe.

Ungeschoren kommt Andrea Glauser allerdings nicht davon: Der Strafantrag für eine Busse wurde beim Hockey-Einzelrichter eingereicht. Mittlerweile ist bekannt, dass sie 2000 Franken beträgt (inklusive Verfahrenskosten).

«Vogelwarte Sempach» entscheidet

Interessant ist die Art und Weise, wie es zu diesem Strafantrag kommt. Verantwortlich dafür ist die «Vogelwarte Sempach des Hockeys». Erst auf diese Saison ist das sogenannte «Sounding Board» gegründet worden. Dieses dreiköpfige Gremium mit Vertretern der Spielergewerkschaft, der Liga (Player Safety Officer) und der Schiedsrichterabteilung hat nur eine einzige Aufgabe: die Beurteilung von Schwalben. Daher die Bezeichnung «Vogelwarte Sempach». Schwalben sind ja Vögel.

Kommt dieses Gremium zum Schluss, dass es sich um eine Schwalbe handelt, wird beim Einzelrichter eine Bestrafung beantragt. Das ist nun im «Fall Glauser» passiert.

Die Strafe der Hockeygötter

Dazu ist zu sagen: Schwalben werden nach wie vor zu wenig hart bestraft. Die Geldbussen sind viel zu milde. Sie können von den Stars aus der Portokasse oder aus dem Gewinn einer Jassrunde beglichen werden. Theoretisch wäre es auch möglich, einen Spieler wegen einer Schwalbe zu sperren. Eine abschreckende Wirkung wäre nur damit zu erreichen.

Die Hockeygötter haben Andrea Glauser bereits hart bestraft: Den von ihm beim Stande von 0:0 provozierten Ausschluss konnte seine Mannschaft im Powerplay nicht nützen. Stattdessen weckte er den Zorn der ZSC Lions und gab den Zürchern einen Energieschub, der das Spiel entschieden hat. Die ZSC Lions haben 3:0 gewonnen und führen im Final 3:2. Sie benötigen noch einen Sieg zum Meistertitel. Die erste Chance bietet sich ihnen am Samstagabend in Lausanne.
