‘Getting offended’: Albanese’s actions at Canberra rally ‘a bit Scomo-esque’
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s actions at the recent rally in Canberra were “a bit Scomo-esque”.
“I reckon, it is a bit Scomo-esque, that particular response,” said.
“What happens as you know with these guys is they take it personally, don’t they?
“It is ironic that they talk about the role because they forget the role, and the role is not to take it personally.
“Getting offended … you just go hey, if you want me to speak I can if you don’t I am fine with that, too, and then everyone thinks, oh, that is a really reasonable response. It is hard to be on all the time, but he let his guard down there and he reacted badly.”
