Germany: Munich Ravens touch down in GTA
Yeah, well, really. It started two years ago when I came to the NFL Germany game at Munich. I was covering up with the NFL Network and I just saw the passion for the game of American football over here. I saw every one of the 32 NFL franchise jerseys walking around Munich. I went to the game, which blew me away. How much passion, how much noise, how much energy there was in that stadium. And it was kind of then that I said, hey, I really love an opportunity to come back here to Germany to help spread the love of the game, the game that I love so much. And maybe give them a little bit of my coaching wisdom that I’ve learned by 11 years in the NFL. The Mita Ravens are a new teen second season, but they are already loaded with US talent and German talent and we are fortunate enough down to Munich where I where I sit at to have a Hall of Fame coach Joe Thomas there. It’s great to have him over here to bring that that level of talent and experience to this team. Munich is a base to become a hotbed of American football. We posted the first ever NFL game two years ago at the Tampa Bay Plains, Seattle. And we’re going to be hosting the game this year again, with Carolina Panthers playing a team to soon be determined. It’s fun as a coach to be able to come over here and know that you’re dealing with the same level of talent, but just giving them little words of wisdom because they are much more raw, like they’re making huge improvements and huge strides. And when you watch the game, it’s going to look just like it is.
