Reality star Georgia Harrison said her life ‘changed forever’ in her poignant documentary, Revenge Porn: Georgia v Bear after a private video of her was posted online without her consent by her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear.
The former Love Island star, 28, was left devastated when she discovered that she was unknowingly filmed having consensual sex with Bear, with the footage then being shared on WhatsApp and posted on OnlyFans.
Georgia has now told her side of the story, and documented how her life came tumbling down after the video footage went viral in her eye-opening ITV documentary which has already been widely praised by viewers who have called her ‘brave’ and ‘inspiring’.
The powerful documentary comes after Bear was sentenced to 21 months in prison for sharing the sexual video footage online without Georgia’s consent.
In the documentary, which aired on ITV tonight, Georgia said that she hoped to encourage other victims to come forward and although she was terrified to share her story, she did so in the hopes of helping other women.
“Hopefully one day girls can look at me and think, she went in there, she did it, she was strong, we can do it,” the former Love Island star said through tears during the programme.
It also featured video blogs from Georgia as well as interviews from her mum Nicola and fellow Love Island contestants, alongside an insight from a legal expert.
Speaking to the camera, the 28-year-old tearfully said: “I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve had my dignity and my privacy ripped beneath me, I’ve had my life changed forever. I’ve lost self-respect, I feel guilt, I feel ashamed – and he is just laughing, joking, having the time of his life.”
After tuning into the documentary tonight, ITV viewers flocked to Twitter to share their reactions as they continued to praise brave Georgia.
“I can’t imagine what it is like for Georgia to be tormented by Bear for years and how it affects her now. Bear is arrogant and soulless to carry on like it was no big deal. At least everyone knows what he is and what he’s done. Hope Georgia can now move forward, she’s so brave,” one viewer tweeted.
“Georgia is such an inspiring role model. She has made me proud to be a woman tonight,” another gushed.
“Honestly, I was in floods of tears watching this whole thing and Georgia is such a brave young woman. She does not yet realise how huge this is and how much this is going to help other young women in the future,” someone else echoed.

While a fourth shared: “Love Georgia so much!!! She is such an amazing young woman. So brave and elegant. Fearless. Nothing will stop her now.”
Earlier this month, Bear, 33, was handed a 21 month prison sentence after being found guilty of voyeurism by a majority verdict and guilty to two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress by an unanimous verdict by a jury.
Georgia waived her right to anonymity in a bid to help others who might be going through a similar ordeal.
She recently explained how her physical health deteriorated in the wake of the ordeal, adding to The Sun : “When it first happened, the physical effects on me were just horrific. I had acne come up all over my face. I ended up getting a cyst infection – the cyst eventually burst – and I was in hospital from stress. They said my kidneys, my pelvis, and multiple organs were infected.
“I was going into septic shock. Bear has never apologised to me once. It’s one thing to deny it, but to show absolutely no remorse, it makes no sense. It’s like my feelings don’t matter.”
