“Gamescom Asia 2021” — Asia's most anticipated gaming event taking place in Singapore from Thursday to Sunday — will provide a hybrid event experience, allowing computer and video game fans, enthusiasts and industry players to participate safely from anywhere in the world.

A prelude to the full-scale convention Gamescom, which is set to take place next year, this is a platform where fans and industry players will get to enjoy a whole host of exciting events featuring the latest products and games from developers and publishers.

Divided between the trade and entertainment zones, the event invites all stakeholders to meet and network with visionaries from the Southeast Asian gaming industry in the hybrid trade conference presented in real-time via livestreams on the virtual platform Hubilo on both Thursday and Friday.

With a focus on game publishing, development and the future growth of the video gaming sector in Asia and beyond, the conference will feature prominent international speakers from industry leaders such as Sky Mavis, Cygames and Zynga.

Also presented on Hubilo on all four days is a virtual trade zone where industry professionals will meet, learn and network through corporate and product presentations, an exhibitor’s area, as well as business matchmaking.

Opening to global audiences is the virtual entertainment zone, which will kickstart with the “Primetime” show on Friday from 8-9pm Bangkok time, where new games and trailers from the region and around the world will be premiered.

Then, fans will have a sneak preview of what is to come with the all-digital programmes under the “Studio” show that will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9am onwards. Fans can tune in to the virtual entertainment zone for free from anywhere and watch the broadcasts on gamescomasia.live and on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.
