Shane grew up in Kilkerrin-Clonberne and made his debut in 2013. The Galway man has five Connacht SFC medals under his belt.
His team came close to winning an All-Ireland in 2022 when they got to the final but were beaten by Kerry in which he scored nine points during the match.
However, the dream for him and the team is not over and they are up there with some of the top teams in the country for an All-Ireland.
