Bengaluru: Passengers flying from Bahrain to Mangaluru in Karnataka fumed at IndiGo Airlines after they reached their destination in two days instead of just few hours.

The passengers claimed multiple goof ups on the part of the airline both at Bahrain and in Mumbai.

The passengers, who were to land in a few hours, landed in Mangaluru in two days from Bahrain.

According to passengers, the first ‘drama’ began at Bahrain Airport when the flight was initially delayed citing a bird hit. The flight was then cancelled and rescheduled 24-hr later. The passengers claimed they were not given any accommodation facility there.

The next day the flight was delayed once again by 2 hours after one passenger failed to board the flight. The passengers said the staff kept waiting for that sole individual.

Due to the delay, 12 passengers who were to take a connecting flight from Mumbai to Mangaluru missed their flight and had to wait again for over 12 hours at the Mumbai airport.

So far, there has been no response from the IndiGo Airlines on the incident.
