Fredericton basketball star to play at highest level of U.S. college sports
For me, growing up. You’re almost told that it’s not really a possibility just because it doesn’t really happen. So, you know, that wasn’t like when I was growing up. It was the end all be all of, you know, my end goal. I need to make D1. I just, I wanted to play university basketball. And you know, I love watching March Madness in the tournament and I always have, you know, growing up with friends and family, it’s, you know, my favorite, my favorite sports tournament or games, whatever. It’s my favorite thing to watch. So, you know, having an opportunity to potentially play in that tournament and, you know play it for a. Division One basketball team is it feels pretty special and it’s, you know, it’s really cool. I feel, you know, so grateful for this opportunity. And you know, I just hope that more, more kids from from back home can see this and realize that, you know, it is possible. It doesn’t really matter where you’re from. If you put enough work in and you know you kind of stay true and and you know keep your head down and keep working, that you know a lot of things are possible, it doesn’t really matter where you’re from.
