'Four of the most enjoyable years': Cian Healy gushes about wife on anniversary

There maybe be tonnes of big rugby weddings this summer but there’s also plenty of anniversaries to celebrate, including that of Cian Healy and wife Laura.

The Ireland and Leinster player showed that just because he’s tough on the pitch doesn’t mean he lacks a softer side as he shared a loving tribute to his other half.

Cian posted two beautiful snaps to make his fourth anniversary starting with one from the big day itself. In the photo, the couple can be seen beaming after making their vows.

Laura looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress which featured a sweetheart neckline and a full ballgown skirt all made out of white satin for a timelessly elegant look.

She polished off her bridal style with her brunette locks styled into loose waves, gorgeous dewy makeup and of course, a dainty tiara for that final touch.

Cian on the other hand swapped his usual kit for a classic black suit with a crisp white shirt, completing everything with a velvet bowtie and boutonniere of dainty white flowers.

In the second snap, Laura can be seen in her element with the couple’s two children climbing all over her as she hugs them close and beams at the camera.

The rugby player captioned his sweet tribute: ‘Four of the most enjoyable years married to this incredible woman, friend and partner in crime.

‘It started with one, now there are three guys in this house that absolutely worship the ground she walks on. Here’s to making memories,’ he wrote followed by a red love heart emoji.

After saying ‘I do’ the couple welcomed two boys to their family, Beau, who arrived in 2021 after a secret pregnancy and Russell who was born in September 2022.

Cian and Laura were childhood sweethearts as they met during their teens but they split in 2012 as Laura moved to New York. Their happily ever after was in the stars as they reconnected years later and announced their engagement in December 2017.
