After holding on to a pair of sneakers until they were basically falling apart, I finally decided to buy new ones recently. Since I live in a walkable city, I have no tolerance for uncomfortable shoes, but I also wanted something cute that could go with any outfit. The first thing I noticed upon slipping on the shoes was how cushioned they felt. They were so comfortable right out of the box, I was able to walk for blocks and blocks without breaking them in first. Thanks to the brand’s signature Cloudtec, the sneakers absorb impact, which is particularly useful for when I’m walking on hard concrete sidewalks. They feature a plastic midsole that’s flexible and rebounds quickly, and the sole is divided into sections to bend with your foot while walking, too. With a perforated upper, the shoes provide airflow to keep your feet cool even when walking all day long. I’ve found that the faux-leather material holds up well in the rain and is super easy to clean, too; I just use a wet paper towel to wipe off any dirt or dust.
