Where do we even start sorting through these lacklustre forward options?
Picking players that have a chance of running through the midfield is your best shot of getting the best score.
Jack Macrae, Shai Bolton and Caleb Daniel all have an excellent chance of seeing plenty of engine room time, as will Sam Flanders, who broke out last season.
Dustin Martin is an interesting proposition but it might pay to wait and see how much midfield time he gets off new coach Adem Yze.
Picking a key forward such as Charlie Curnow, Toby Greene and Taylor Walker is always a risk with their inconsistent outputs.
Luke Jackson will spend the majority of his time up forward but is intriguing with his dual position status.

It’s also slim pickings in the bargain bin with no cheap options jumping off the page.
Isaac Heeney has been the perennial Supercoach tease – can he get more midfield time in 2024?
Mitch Owens looks primed to break out this season as part of St Kilda’s on-ball unit.
After playing half forward at Collingwood last season, Taylor Adams could return to the midfield at Sydney.
Jack Billings and Zac Fisher are at their second clubs but are awkward prices as cash cows.
Jeremy Cameron is in the key forward bucket of options and coaches must be wary of his scoring style.
