Christie Brinkley posed in a cherry red one-piece swimsuit after turning 70-years-old on Friday.

The Vacation actress flaunted her very toned and trim shape in photos shared to Instagram this weekend while she was on vacation in the Caribbean.

‘Jumping into 70 with a boatload of fun and counting my blessings everyday!’ wrote the ex-wife of Billy Joel in her caption.

’12 of them are in the last photo! #friends #sensational70 #livelyupyourself.’

Her pals were her two of her kids – Sailor and Jack – as well as New York couple Andrew Saffir and Daniel Benedict.

On Friday her kids were quick to wish her a happy birthday on social media.

The siren has three kids with three different men: Alexa Ray Joel with Billy Joel, Jack Paris Brinkley Cook with Richard Taubman and Sailor Brinkley Cook with Peter Cook.

Last week the the Vacation actress talked about how she has been able to maintain her youthful appearance all these decades after fame hit in the 1970s.

The beauty chatted with People, saying she is fine with having a few lines here and there, and also admitting she has tried Botox in the past but is not fond of doing too much to her visage.

In the magazine the focus is also on looking fabulous while letting herself age naturally. ‘I want to accept certain wrinkles. That’s the way I’m approaching aging,’ said the former Vogue cover girl.

‘Sometimes when people get older, and they overdo it, they can look waxy and — I don’t know what the word is — preserved or something. I want a little life to show on my face, you know?’

Last summer the Vogue model said she will still be posing in her bikinis for social media when she hits 70 as she feels as good as she did 40 years ago. ‘I feel strong,’ the actress told People. ‘I pretty much feel, as I’m approaching 70, the same way that I felt when I was approaching 30. I feel good’

Twice a year she does resurfacing Fraxel treatments to help with sun damage, she shared.

To promote the interview she took to Instagram with a funny post. ‘I still have a few days left of my Sexy Sixties before I dance into my Sensational Seventies on February 2nd,’ began the ex of crooner Billy Joel.

‘I already know it’s going to be a spectacular year!’

The mother of three then added: ‘I know because that’s my plan and I’m old enough to know that it’s up to me to make sure of it!

‘I always used to say to my kids go out and make it a great day and now I’m saying to myself that I’m gonna make it a great year.’

She then said she has had ‘a lot of close calls’ and she feels ‘lucky and grateful to be here’ – she is likely referring to her ski accident.

She added, ‘I just can’t believe that I got here so FAST! It’s speeds by so my advice to all you young-ins out there …Love, laugh, and LIVE IT UP! ❤️.’

But she feels fabulous. ‘I’ve been shocked by not feeling the way I thought I was supposed to be feeling at that age,’ she explained.

‘I don’t believe that focusing on age is going to make you feel any better about it.’ And she shared her tip for looking young: ‘I think curiosity in the world around you and just wanting to do something with each day, that is what keeps you young and going,’ she noted.

In 2022 the star talked about her figure. The actress was seen in a crop top and shorts while stretching on the beach as she gave some sound advice.

‘When you eat too much, it’s not as easy to lose the weight, so here’s a tip that’s tried and true, that will make you feel like your best you,’ said the model.

She said to ‘avoid the sugar and do exercise, it’s not about the size of your thighs.’

The blonde also said, ‘Vibrant good health will be your prize! Reminder this month when you buy a bottle, you’ll put planting trees into full throttle!

On her Insta stories she broke down her healthy diet tricks that don’t skimp on flavor but rely heavily on freshly picked fruit.

In one post she shared a photo of freshly cut papaya with greens on top.

Over the photo the Cover Girl model wrote, ‘My neighbors grew this papaya! Look at the rich color! I’m planting the seeds from this papaya!’

In another post she showed off her breakfast which looked to consist mostly of fresh fruit.

‘Today’s breakfast! Chia seeds really fill you up fast, great source of fiber and quercetin an antioxidant that can reduce your risk of developing several health conditions including heart disease!’

And another post saw blueberries and raspberries over chia seeds mixed with ‘milk replacement’ and pecans on top.

‘Easy to make too just put 2 tablespoons of chia seeds for every half cup of your milk replacement of choice. I love it made with coconut milk or Oatmilk, Just pop it in the fridge and it will puff up. Ta Da!
