Olivia Dunne made an incredible start to her senior year as an LSU gymnast this month after scoring 9.875 on floor exercise for the Tigers.

Yet a few weeks on from her breathtaking debut, the social-media sensation has joked that she was simply ‘kicking back relaxing’ on the night.

Dunne, who boasts over 12 million followers across her Instagram and TikTok accounts, produced a strong effort on her big night for LSU, which went down as only .25 off her career high in the discipline (9.900).

The 21-year-old was left out of last weekend’s meet with Kentucky, failing to play any part in a win marred by controversy amid claims that her team benefitted from their opponents being underscored.

However, amid the debate surrounding that meet, Dunne has taken to social media to reminisce about her sensational senior-year debut at the start of January.

Along with a photo that shows her lying on the floor and lifting one of her legs straight past her head at a 180-degree angle, the 21-year-old wrote: ‘Just kicking back relaxing’.

No. 3 LSU defeated No. 14 Ohio State 196.995-196.795 on the evening in question after trailing for most of the meet.

Dunne was the second competitor of six to compete for LSU on the team’s final rotation of the evening. Her score of 9.875 was one of the five to count towards LSU’s event total.

Meanwhile, Dunne’s sister Julz filmed herself knocking back the beers in the stands as her younger sibling got off to a flyer against Ohio State.

Julz, the so-called ‘brains’ behind her sister’s huge following on social media, shared videos of herself on TikTok attempting to drink as many beers as she could before the meet ended.

And as she got off to a flyer at the PMAC in Baton Rouge, Dunne’s 22-year-old sister Julz was enjoying a beer marathon up in the stands

‘Alright because my psychotic mother [Katherine Dunne] likes to get to meets an hour and a half early, I’m gonna vlog how many beers I can finish before the meet is over,’ she said in one of the videos.

‘So I sipped on beer number two before the girls finished warms.

‘Before I could grab a third, the girls were running out of the tunnels and they were doing the introductions yadda, yadda, yadda. I really couldn’t give a f**k because all I wanted to do was go to the concessions.’
