Flüge innerhalb Skandinaviens: Mehrere Airlines schaffen Masken-Pflicht ab

Vier skandinavische Fluggesellschaften verlangen keinen Mund-Nasen-Schutz mehr. Die Regelung gilt für Passagiere, die innerhalb von Schweden, Dänemark und Norwegen fliegen.

Bei Flügen innerhalb Skandinaviens müssen Passagiere ab Montag keinen Mund-Nasen-Schutz mehr tragen. Die Fluggesellschaften Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), Nowegian, Widerøe und Flyr verlangen von Reisenden auf Flügen zwischen Dänemark, Norwegen und Schweden den Infektionsschutz nicht mehr. Die neue Regelung gilt laut SAS ab Montag, 18. Oktober.

Die vier skandinavischen Fluggesellschaften sind die ersten weltweit, die diese Massnahme für alle Passagiere abschaffen. «Aufgrund der Öffnung der Gesellschaften und allgemeiner Empfehlungen der Behörden in Skandinavien hebt SAS ab dem 18. Oktober 2021 die Pflicht zur Verwendung von Gesichtsmasken auf Flügen innerhalb Skandinaviens auf», heisst es in einer Mitteilung. Und eine Widerøe-Sprecherin sagte im norwegischen Radio: «Der norwegische Leitfaden zur Infektionskontrolle verlangt von Passagieren im Inland nicht mehr, Gesichtsmasken zu tragen, daher entfällt diese Anforderung an Bord von Widerøes Flügen.»

Maskenpflicht fällt nur auf Flügen innerhalb von Skandinavien weg

Allerdings gelte bei Flügen in andere Länder bei allen vier Fluggesellschaften weiterhin eine Maskentragpflicht. «SAS hält die Pflicht zum Tragen von Gesichtsmasken an Bord von Flügen zu anderen europäischen und interkontinentalen Zielen bis auf weiteres aufrecht», heisst es weiter.

Fluggesellschaften auf der ganzen Welt hatten die Maskentragpflicht in den ersten Monaten der Corona-Pandemie eingeführt. Bis heute gilt sie als unverzichtbar, um die Verbreitung von Covid-19 an Bord zu verhindern. Es ist darum bis auf weiteres nicht damit zu rechnen, dass sich weitere Fluggesellschaften dieser Regel anschliessen. Die skandinavischen Länder verfolgen schon seit längerer Zeit eine besonders freiheitliche Politik in Sachen Covid-Massnahmen. (oco)
