She was taking a break from filming in Rome with co-star Andrew Garfield
If you really want to embrace the bovver girl look, you need more than just short hair.
And Florence Pugh certainly proves that – striding out in a pair of boots that wouldn’t have been out of place on the feet of a 1970s troublemaker.
Just for good measure, she was spotted swigging a glass of wine and puffing on a cigarette.
The star, 27, was taking a break from filming romcom We Live In Time to enjoy lunch in Rome with co-star Andrew Garfield.
A Hollywood source said: ‘Florence is loving her new look. She’s also loving the fact that people aren’t recognising her. She’s been able to be herself.’

OLD LOOK: Florence as a blonde in March while attending ‘A Good Person’ film screening in New York in March, 2023
Ms Pugh – who shaved her head for the £100 million Dune sequel – first revealed the buzzcut at the Met Gala at the start of May.
On that occasion she wore a Valentino ivory gown with a dramatic train and a towering black feather headpiece.
This time, she opted for a skintight off-the-shoulder black dress and studded sunglasses.
‘Florence is the hottest thing in Hollywood right now,’ said the source.
‘She’s gorgeous, feisty and enjoying a glass of wine in Rome. So what?
‘She hates the whole Hollywood thing. Andrew (Garfield) is being a huge support. He’s helping her navigate all the attention.’

Ms Pugh is earning a reported £5 million per year as a spokeswoman for Valentino, the designer of both her sunglasses and thick-soled boots.
She has shunned the limelight since her relationship with actor Zach Braff, more than 20 years her senior, became tabloid fodder.
She recently made headlines for her reported fall out with Olivia Wilde, the director of 2022 film Don’t Worry Darling, which Ms Pugh starred in along with popstar Harry Styles.
After becoming ‘upset’ by Ms Wilde’s affair with Styles, Ms Pugh famously avoided Ms Wilde during the red carpet at the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling.
