Fleur East says it's ‘not fair' I'm A Celeb stars in Wales have it easier than she did

Fleur East has hit out at the stars who go into I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! for having an easier experience.

The X Factor star said it’s “not fair” that the ones who go into Gwrych Castle in Wales have more home comforts, including rumours that the stars get to have hot showers.

She starred in the show in 2018 and came in fourth place, with Harry Redknapp being crowned the winner.

Last year, I’m A Celeb was filmed in Wales for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic, and it will be shot there for this year’s series.

Speaking to The Mirror at the TRIC Awards, Fleur said: “I heard a rumour that they have hot showers, I’m not saying it’s not gonna be tough but try having a freezing cold shower every day out in the open.”

“It’s just not fair is it?” she laughed.

But Fleur admitted that doing I’m A Celeb will still always be tough, no matter where it’s filmed.

She went on: “It’s still tough, it’s still he same concept. You’re away from your family and friends, no phone, you’ve got to eat bugs, do the trials.

“The trials are still the same to be fair, they’ve still captured the essence.”

Though Fleur did admit that she feels sorry for the celebs who go into the castle, as she doesn’t think it’s the full experience

“The jungle is the OG experience isn’t it?” she told us.

“it’s a shame they don’t get to experience, coming from someone whose been there, it’s a shame they do’t get to experience that.”
