Located 40 kilometers in the north of Hanoi capital, Flamingo Contemporary Art Museum is a unique and large outdoor private museum, crystallized from the Art In The Forest (AIF) - a non-profit project founded since 2015.

The museum features 56 sculptures made of stone, aluminum, wood, stainless steel and nearly 70 lacquer, oil on canvas and acrylic paintings, among others. These artworks are the results of meticulous creation by many artists from Vietnam, Canada, America, France, Japan, Nepal, Italy, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and Spain during the past five years.

The artworks are now on display in the five-star resort, by the banks of Dai Lai Lake, in a studio built from containers, and on the roads within the pine forest. These beautiful sculptures are in harmony with the lush green architecture of the resort, creating a marvelous natural scene. Each of these works has its own message and showcases the talent of the artist.

Having the spirit of “art is only art - art does not assume any other responsibility”, AIF has done well as a guide to create a true art space - a place to honor artists. Talented artists and their valuable works have become a bridge bringing art closer to the public.

“AIF is a chance for my 25-year dream to unfold. I have personally pursued this special art exhibition for many years and it's nice to see that it is located in a marvelous space displaying well-executed artworks. The artworks demonstrate the output and quality of the artists participating, which have a great influence on the art-loving public,” said renowned sculptor Tran Hoang Co.

According to said artist Vu Hong Nguyen, Co-founder of “Art In The Forest”, with the desire to create true artworks, over the next dozen years, it will be the biggest outdoor sculpture museum in the Asia. Aat the inauguration of The Flamingo Museum of Contemporary Art today, the biggest ever exhibition space at Vinh Phuc province is already created.

“Vinh Phuc is extremely proud of owning such marvelous first large-scale outdoor contemporary art museum. This will be a highlight of the locality to attract more tourists to visit Dai Lai eco-tourism area in particular and Vinh Phuc province in general,” Mr. Duong Quang Ung, Deputy Director of the Vinh Phuc Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said.
