1] Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

As indicated, the Fatal Error – Coordinator Returned-1 error that occurred on your Windows 11/10 PC is a Zoom error, and since Zoom is a Windows Store app, you can begin troubleshooting by running the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter and see if that helps.To run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter on your Windows 11 device, do the following:Press Windows key + I to open Settings app.Navigate to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.Under the Other section, find Windows Store Apps.Click Run button.Follow on-screen instructions and apply any recommended fixes.To run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter on your Windows 10 PC, do the following:

  • Press Windows key + I to open Settings app.
  • Go to Update and Security.
  • Click the Troubleshooter tab.
  • Scroll down and click on Windows Store Apps.
  • Click the Run the troubleshooter button.
  • Follow on-screen instructions and apply any recommended fixes.

    2] Disable launch.bat Startup item

    This error in view is also known to occur on your system due to a bat file called Launch.bat a startup file of the Zoom application in Startup in Task Manager. In this case, disabling the launch.bat startup item might fix the error.

    To disable the Launch.bat Startup item on your Windows 11/10 PC, do the following:

  • Open Task Manager.
  • In Task Manager, click on the Startup tab.
  • Locate and right-click on launch.bat file.
  • Click Disable on the context menu.
  • Restart PC.If the issue is unresolved, try the next solution.

    3] Uninstall and Reinstall Zoom

    This solution simply requires you to uninstall and reinstall the Zoom Windows Store app and see if that helps to resolve the issue at hand. Otherwise, try the next solution.

    4] Perform System Restore

    If you noticed that error started to occur recently, it’s entirely possible that the issue was facilitated by a change that your system has gone through recently. Since you have no idea what changed that might have ended up breaking the Zoom app functionality, you can use System Restore (any changes like application install, user preferences, and anything else made after the restore point will be lost) to revert to a date where you’re certain that the app was working properly.

    To perform System Restore on your Windows 11/10 computer, do the following:

  • Press Windows key + R to invoke the Run dialog.
  • In the Run dialog box, type rstrui and hit Enter to open up the System Restore Wizard.
  • In System Restore window, click Next to advance to the next window.
  • At the next screen, check the box for the option Show more restore points.
  • Now, select a restore point that has an older date than the one in which you first started to notice the error.
  • Click Next to advance to the next menu.
  • Click Finish and confirm at the final prompt.

    At the next system startup, your older computer state will be enforced.
