iDiskiTimes reported that Chiefs won’t make the 24-year-old Colombian’s loan deal permanent. In 12 outings he’s not yet broken his goal-scoring duck and his imminent exit is no real surprise to anyone concerned.
“His loan deal, which had an option to make the deal permanent for $180,000 (R3.4 million) will not be pursued further after failing to score in his 12 games for Amakhosi,” the report added.

Itumeleng Khune
Khune made his PSL debut for Amakhosi against Jomo Cosmos in August 2007. In the 17 years that have elapsed, he has scooped seven major honours with the Glamour Boys, including three DStv Premiership crowns in 2005, 2013 and 2015. This guy was also PSL Footballer of the Year in 2013. Say what you will, but Khune is a bona fide Amakhosi legend. His gloves will be huge ones to fill, but it’s long been reported that this is his final year as a member of the club’s playing personnel. Whether the 36-year-old takes up a coaching post in the future is another matter.
Keagan Dolly
31-year-old former Montpellier and Sundowns attacking midfielder Keagan Dolly fractured his toe in March. He made a comeback against Golden Arrows on March 9th but suffered a setback in that match. He has played only EIGHT times across all competitions this season, including seven in the league with a solitary assist. Is that good enough for a player boasting his calibre, experience and rumoured R1.4 Million a month salary?

The 29-year-old central defender has just 29 starts and 11 sub appearances in three seasons since joining from Swallows. He’s never become a regular and AmaZulu are thought to be admirers.
“He’s waiting to see if Chiefs still value him despite the limited game time. He wants to play football and that may be a big factor. AmaZulu is also an option for him but the package will have a bearing on whether he takes the deal,” the source via FarPost said.
George Matlou
According to a Phakaaati source, Chiefs don’t have plans to retain George Matlou beyond June.
“He is not even making the match day squad these days, and that shows that he is not in the coach’s plans hence the club has decided to let him go at the end of the season,” the insider said.
“Matlou is only 25, so he has time to rediscover the form that saw him being signed by Chiefs, but he’ll do that somewhere else, not at Chiefs next season,” he added.
