FIFA 22 OTW Pack: When do ‘Ones to Watch’ come out?

When does OTW come out in FIFA 22?

The FIFA 22 OTW pack is set to come out today, October 1, but will now launch with the following times:

• 5 PM UTC
• 6 PM BST (UK time)
• 1 PM ET
• 10 AM PT

This comes after EA accidentally released the FIFA 22 OTW pack early, despite the pack not actually containing any Ones to Watch cards for players. If players opened the pack before the above times, they were instead given regular gold player cards rather than the pre-order bonus for playing the game early via EA Play.

EA released a statement regarding the issue on Twitter, tweeting: “OTW Pre-Order Player Packs were unintentionally released prior to OTW Player Items being in FIFA 22.

“OTW Pre-Order Packs currently can’t be opened while we investigate the issue. Players who opened their Pack prior to OTW release will receive a new OTW Pack in the coming days.”

When the packs were initially released, they were placed in players’ inventories along with small-print text that stated OTW cards couldn’t be opened from them until 5 PM UTC. However, players inevitably missed this text, therefore opening the packs without receiving the correct reward.

It’s unclear when players who accidentally opened the packs will receive their proper OTW pre-order bonus, though EA’s clarification that it will amend the issue in the coming days suggests it will be sooner rather than later. For players who have yet to open their packs, wait until 5 PM UTC (or 6 PM in the UK) to get your OTW players.
