'Felt Like A Beast': Rashmika Mandanna Performs 100 Kg Deadlift On Kubera Sets
Rashmika Mandanna is busy shooting for her upcoming film Kubera co-starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh. Helmed by the renowned director Shekhar Kammula, the film is touted to be a thriller-drama. The Pushpa actress, who enjoys a massive fan base on social media, often shares her thoughts and daily life stories on her special Instagram segment ‘Dear Diary’. Recently, Rashmika – in her Insta segment – talked about Kubera night shoots and her “messed up sleeping schedule”.
Taking to Instagram stories, Rashmika posted a gym workout video in which she could be seen doing a 100 kg deadlift like a pro. The video was accompanied by a long note in which she expressed feeling disoriented due to her continuous night shifts.
“Came back in the room at 8 in the morning after night shoot had my meal wasn’t sleep at all. So read a book and went to bed at around 12 in the Noon. Woke up at 6 in the evening, wanted to do some more cardio but didn’t feel like it,” the text on her video read. The Animal actress also revealed that she went for her workout at 1 AM and did a 100 kg deadlift and some leg exercises. “Felt like a power beast,” Rashmika wrote.
Reflecting on her experience of working with Dhanush and team Kubera, the actress said, “Shooting with Dhanush sir and Shekhar sir and Niketh and the Kubera team is so much fun.” Even during early morning on April 30, the actress said she was wide awake as her sleeping schedule had been messed up due to the prolonged night shifts.
Rashmika and Dhanush starrer Kubera is yet to get an official release date.
On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She will be next seen in the highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule alongside south superstar Allu Arjun. The pan-India film is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Independence Day 2024. Apart from that, she also has The Girlfriend, Rainbow and a period action-drama Chaava opposite Vicky Kaushal in her kitty.
