Significantly Modernized Textures For Almost All Of FNV

NMC’s Texture Pack is the most popular texture pack Fallout: New Vegas players can get, and for good reason. This FNV texture mod overhauls almost every texture in the game with ultra-HD versions, including environments, interiors, NPCs, weapons, and just about everything else in FNV.

There are three versions of NMC’s Texture Pack.

• The largest pack adds 2k textures and bumpmaps throughout the game, but is separated into three parts.
• The medium pack adds 2k textures and HD bumpmaps, and is split into two downloadable parts.

It’s a proper overhaul of the game’s original SFX – including new decal textures and 3D impacts, new special effects for just about every special effect in the game, updates to the original mesh for a smoother world, more gorey critical hit sequences, and so much more.

Distant Objects Have Never Been So Smooth On The Eyes

One of the main problems that modern games experience when going back to Fallout New Vegas is how rough the game looks nowadays. Though it was quite impressive back in the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 days, New Vegas is really starting to show its age – almost nowhere more so than the distant LOD textures.

With the Improved LOD Noise Texture mod, the distant environments you will see while exploring the Wasteland will be made HD, making them far less distracting. It fits in great with other texture mods, and barely has any impact on how the game runs.

It’s worth picking this one up just to save your eyes some strain and turn the game’s originally jarring distant textures into something that won’t stand out as much.

Though technically not a texture mod at heart, the Nevada Skies mod is a major overhaul of the game’s lighting, weather, and other special effects – and it comes with a huge selection of unique skyboxes.

With the click of a button in the mod configuration menu, you can modify the world’s weather, the lighting and filters affecting the visuals, and even load up beautiful ultra-HD skies that perfectly complement the Mojave’s desert environment.
