Formula 1’de sezon sonunda Haas’tan ayrılacak Alman pilot Nico Hulkenberg, gelecek sezon Sauber, takımın devredilmesinin ardından Audi ile yarışacak.

Sauber Üst Yöneticisi Andreas Seidl, yaptığı açıklamada, “2025’ten itibaren Formula 1’de onunla birlikte yarışacak olmaktan büyük memnuniyet duyuyoruz. Hızı, deneyimi ve ekip çalışmasına bağlılığıyla takımımızın ve Audi’nin F1 projesi dönüşümünün önemli bir parçası olacak.” diye konuştu.

36 yaşındaki Alman pilot, Audi’nin takımı devralması öncesinde 2025 yılında Sauber için piste çıkacak.

2013 yılında Sauber için bir sezon yarışan Hulkenberg, kariyeri boyunca Williams, Force India, Renault, Racing Point ve Aston Martin için puan mücadelesi vermişti.
