Expo invites all coffee lovers to join

The expo will feature new coffee technology from around the world. FABB Academy of Coffee

Coffee lovers can't miss this. The “FABB Coffee Fair 2021” will kick off this Thursday Oct 28 and run until Nov 28, at FABB Academy of Coffee Training Institute on Soi Pridi Banomyong 15, Sukhumvit 71.

The expo will bring together the people who make high-quality coffee beans, importers of cutting-edge equipment and technology in Thailand and throughout the world, and experts in the coffee field from growers to producers and roasters to brewers, as well as ultimate consumers.

Held in the format of an in-house exhibition, the trade show will feature booths by leading entrepreneurs who will showcase the most recent technological innovations, with special promotions on offer.

Booths will be staffed by roasters from Coffee-Tech Engineering, a leading manufacturer from Israel; 2021 Zero Perfect Extraction, a professional espresso machine for baristas by Dalla Corte of Italy; roasters by Coffee Tools and Toper from Greece, and many more.

For those looking for coffee beans to use in their roasting plants, they are invited to experience special organic coffee varieties that will be available for retail and as wholesale. Attendees can place orders directly with Thai farmers who export globally via Ubon Bio Agricultural.

This is also an opportunity to discover how good you are at preparing coffee and get to taste different coffee flavours in a variety of activities. Learn to brew using traditional methods and innovative brewing machines, while having fun with roasting, brewing and cupping special green bean varieties selected by professional farmers. You don’t need to be an expert or have an exceptional sense of taste to join.

For coffee lovers looking for new coffee beans to work with, coffee cuppings will be arranged to provide a chance to experiment with the quality of coffee before deciding to purchase.

Then, get up to date with the latest coffee trends in a series of seminars, including “Specialty Coffee Shop Meaning X Winning” on Nov 2, “Injecting Brand To Brain” on Nov 9, “DIY Cafe: Hacking Your Budget” on Nov 11, “Omakase — Cafe At Home” on Nov 16, “Meet The Farmer” on Nov 23, and “Home Roaster: Passion Vocation” on Nov 25. All the activities will start at 11am and run until noon.

Another highlight is an online auction of coffee machines from world-class manufacturers every Saturday and Sunday.

The expo is open to vaccinated visitors only, with places limited to 50 people per round of two hours. To register, visit bit.ly/3zsG9y3 or add Line: @thefabb.
