Who is most popular pick for Raiders in PFF NFL mock draft simulator?

As NFL fans continue to have some fun with mock draft simulators ahead of the 2024 NFL draft, which prospect has been mocked to the Las Vegas Raiders the most among those using the Pro Football Focus version?

According to PFF, it’s none other than Toledo cornerback, Quinyon Mitchell, who is being mocked to Las Vegas 16.5% of the time at No. 13 overall.

While certainly not the biggest need the Raiders have, it’s conceivable Las Vegas could take Mitchell in that spot, as the team needs another starter on the boundary opposite Jack Jones.

Mitchell, who is widely considered one of the top two at his position in this year’s class, would check that box, giving the Raiders a long-term starter and No. 1 on the outside.

However, chances are the Raiders will address their need at either right tackle or quarterback before that one if there is someone they deem worthy of the No. 13 pick at one of those positions.

If a trade up for a signal-caller doesn’t happen, don’t rule out Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., or tackles like Oregon State’s Taliese Fuaga, Alabama’s JC Latham or Penn State’s Olu Fashanu in that spot.

From there, the Raiders should have options at corner on Day 2, whether that be in the second or third round. Taking a cornerback in the latter round is more likely, though, assuming Las Vegas goes with a combination of a quarterback and tackle in the first two rounds.
