Nisan 2011’de Westminster Abbey’de yapılan düğün töreni ile evlenen Prens William ve Prenses Kate 13. evlilik yıl dönümlerini kutluyor. Prensesin sağlık durumu nedeniyle, çift şimdiye kadar karşılaştıkları en büyük zorlukla yüzleşiyor. Kate zaman alan kanser tedavisi sürecinde gizlilik istiyor.

Kensington Sarayı’nın sosyal medya hesabından, düğün gününden fotoğrafçı Millie Pilkington tarafından çekilmiş yeni bir fotoğraf paylaşıldı. Çiftin resmi düğün fotoğrafçısı Hugo Burnand olsa da, Pilkington da özel bir fotoğrafçı olarak görev almıştı.

William ve Kate 20 yılı aşkın süredir birlikte olup, İskoçya’daki St. Andrews Üniversitesi’nde tanışarak önce arkadaş sonra sevgili olmuşlardı. William nişanlarını duyurdukları röportajda, “İkimiz de birlikte çok eğlenceli vakit geçiriyoruz, her ikimiz de mizah anlayışına sahibiz” demişti.
