The sensational Harry Styles will take to the stage at Slane Castle next weekend to a crowd of 80,000 fans.
The sold out concert has been in the calendar for many fans since tickets first went on sale last September, and at long last, it’s finally time to start the prep.

The final line-up for the gig has been announced, with five acts taking to the stage before the main man himself, including Bono’s son’s band, Inhaler and DJ Annie Mac.
Here’s everything you need to know about the show that’s tipped to be the concert of the year:

Stage times and support acts
If you were expecting to just see Harry Styles at the Meath venue, you’re in for a treat as there is a festival-like line-up that’s kicking off at 2:30pm, just 30 minutes after doors open.
As we already mentioned, five acts are booked to play Slane Castle before Harry Styles takes to the stage, with Harry’s own guitarist Mitch will be performing as well as Grammy-award winning group Wet Leg, DJ Annie Mac and Inhaler.

Travel
There are plenty of travel options to get you to the venue, but jumping on one of the many coaches that will drop you straight to the castle will avoid much headache with parking, and they coaches will also be prioritised for spots ahead of private cars.
If you’re travelling from Dublin, bus companies including Marathon Coaches and Expressway are running services, while Travelmaster and Expressway are running services from Cork.
The rather handy Evntz website has all the in-depth information you’ll need when it comes to your travel needs- you can book your seat on a bus as well as parking, which must be paid in advance of arrival.
There will be four official car parks at Slane: Green, Blue Red, and Pink, and all public car and bus parks are located a 20 to 30-minute walk from Slane Castle. Roadside parking is strictly forbidden and 24-hour towing and clamping will be in operation- so don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Slane Castle Rules
Slane Castle Organisers have listed a few rules regarding what attendees should and shouldn’t do, including what to bring/wear to the event.
Don’ts:
Strictly forbidden items include: folding chairs, umbrellas, alcohol, and professional cameras, video equipment or iPads.
There is a no heel or sandal rule, as flat, comfortable footwear is needed for the hilly landscape that Slane sits on.
A bag may be needed for the long day, but no bags over A4 size will be allowed past security, so pack light.
Queuing for the concert is strictly forbidden as it is a rural area as opposed to an arena venue.
For a full list of prohibited items, you should check out promoter MCD’s website.

Do:
Make sure all tickets have been downloaded onto your phone before heading to the event and that your phone is fully charged.
If you can, bring battery packs for the day, as your phone will be needed for tickets upon entry.
Organise all travel requirements in advance, and allow up to three hours travel time to and from the gig, as there will be delays due to the 80,000 people travelling to the same area.
The day will begin at 2pm and is due to end at approximately midnight, so stay hydrated and well fed.
Age Requirements
Finally, anyone under the age of 16 will only be allowed into Slane Castle if they are accompanied by an adult over the age of 25.
While there will be alcohol available at the venue, you’ll need proof that you’re old enough to drink at the bars.
