Everything to know about new This Morning host Ben Shephard and his wife Annie
After months of guessing it looks like the speculation is coming to an end as the new faces taking over from Holly and Phil on This Morning have reportedly been confirmed.
Aside from Cat Deeley, who has been thoroughly sleuthed after her husband Patrick Kielty took over as the new host of the Late Late, we’ve been left wondering about her new presenting other half, Ben Shephard.

Now Ben is no fresh face on TV screens either, having been on the presenting scene since 1998. As he gears up to helm the morning show, we’ve taken a look at his family life and marriage to long-time love, Annie.
Where did Ben and Annie meet?
Ben and Annie have been married since 2004 and are aptly referred to as college sweethearts, having been together since they met at university when they were both in their early 20s.
Speaking on White Wine Question Time, Kate Thornton’s podcast, he opened up to his close friend about when the two first met.

‘We met at university – so you knew Annie when I just got into the telly,’ he told Kate. ‘I was sort of a mere puppy when it came to the world of broadcasting media.
‘She has been through all this with me – the highs and the lows of all that experience. And she is still here, somehow is still putting up with me which to this day, I can’t quite believe that I am extraordinarily lucky.’
Saying I Do
The presenter, now 49, will celebrate his 20th anniversary with Annie next year. They tied the knot in a lavish, intimate ceremony on a private island off the coast of Devon with only their closest friends and family.
Growing their family
Ben has been notoriously tight-lipped about his private life, rarely speaking about his family in the public sphere but has shared a handful of snaps of the couple’s two children, Sam, 17, and Jack, 15.
The family lives in a charming home in Richmond, South West London.

What does Annie do?
It’s not just the new This Morning host who has forged a successful career path, with Annie a highly-regarded name in the world of interior design. She has previously worked with the likes of House and Garden, Glamour and Elle Decor.
