Over 94% of Everton supporters are less than satisfied with the transfer strategy pursued under Farhad Moshiri and Marcel Brands.
Brands’ time at Everton has come to an end with the director of football set to leave the club after three-and-a-half-years.
The 59-year-old only signed a new three-year-deal in April but has now become a casualty of the Blues’ poor run of form.
The Blues are currently winless since September 25, when they beat strugglers Norwich City 2-0 at Goodison Park, and sit five points above the drop zone.
It is the club’s longest winless run in 22 years and has not gone unnoticed by supporters, who made their displeasure clear after the defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday night.
And now Blues fans taking part in the ECHO’s big Everton survey have had their say on who they believe are behind the club’s current problems.
Out of the thousands of responses so far, 94.8% are not currently satisfied with the club’s transfer strategy.
And while 80.4% believe the signings have been poor, 7.2% also feel that the players brought in should be good enough to be successful.

While just over 12% of supporters who took part in the survey believe more still needs to be spent to improve the squad’s weaknesses.
But when it comes to who is to blame, over 31% believe it lies collectively in all football departments of the club, with over 21% believing that Brands and his recruitment team are to blame.
While 19.7% of supporters believe former managers and signings are to blame with just just over 17% claiming that fault lies with Moshiri, the club’s owner, and his decision-making.
Over four percent believe that the Blues’ current squad of players are to blame with just 2.9% believing that current manager Rafa Benitez is the problem.Internet Explorer Channel Network
