EuroMillions results: Jackpot of €166million won as Irish players urged to check tickets
A lottery ticket for the EuroMillions
Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot prize of €166,790,050 has been won, National Lottery bosses have confirmed.
The lucky winner is based in France and has scooped the life-changing prize after matching all five numbers plus the two lucky stars.
It was also a lucky night for one Irish player, who was just one number away from sharing the jackpot. They can console themselves with a prize of €114,649 after correctly picking all five numbers plus one of the two lucky stars.
It has been confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in Co Kildare.
The ticket holder is one of over 53,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.
Nobody won the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw, however 47 players scooped €2,000 each by matching four of the five numbers.
Meanwhile, 10 players won €5,000 each in the Ireland Only raffle draw.
The winning numbers in the main draw are: 13, 22, 24, 33, 47 and Lucky Stars 1 and 5
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw are: 12, 16, 38, 39 and 49
