Tottenham injury update: Destiny Udogie, Pedro Porro and Richarlison latest news and return dates

Tottenham return to Premier League action this weekend with a crucial fixture against north London rivals Arsenal in their battle for Champions League qualification.

Ange Postecoglou’s side sit one place below Aston Villa in the final qualification spot, albeit with two games in hand.

Spurs were abject in their last Premier League outing, a 4-0 humbling against Newcastle at St James’ Park. They must respond against Arsenal to put pressure on Unai Emery’s men and to keep Champions League qualification in their hands.

Despite a rest week with no FA Cup action, Destiny Udogie was added to Tottenham’s injury list. The 21-year-old will miss the rest of the season after picking up an injury in training.

Richarlison and Pedro Porro will both be eager to return against Arsenal this weekend.

Meanwhile, long-term absentees Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon, and Fraser Forster are all still unavailable.

Here is your latest update of Tottenham injury news and return dates…

Destiny Udogie

Udogie has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his left quadriceps.

“An injury brings my season to an early end,” Udogie wrote on Instagram on Saturday

“It doesn’t take away from how grateful I am to every person that has supported me this year.”

Tottenham confirmed that the Italian defender will “continue his rehabilitation with our medical staff and is expected to rejoin the squad during pre-season.”

Potential return date: Summer 2024

Richarlison

Richarlison has missed Spurs’ last two Premier League fixtures after struggling with a knee injury since the beginning of March.

Ahead of their damaging defeat against Newcastle, Ange Postecoglou confirmed “he’s close” to returning and “on track to do that.”

The Brazilian forward will be desperate to return to fitness ahead of this weekend’s north London derby.

Potential return date: April 2024

Pedro Porro

Porro was forced off early in the second-half against Newcastle with a hamstring injury.
