"Es una burla, señor presidente": interrumpen discurso de Boric por Día de la Libertad de Prensa

El presidente Gabriel Boric fue interrumpido este viernes, mientras realizaba su discurso por el “Día Internacional de La Prensa Libre”, desde el Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral.

En concreto, un hombre se levantó de su asiento con un lienzo en mano, para manifestarse por la periodista Francisca Sandoval, quien fue asesinada el 1 de mayo de 2022 durante una marcha.

Esta situación generó la molestia del Mandatario, quien le pidió al manifestante que lo dejara hablar.

“Aprovecho de mencionar a Francisca Sandoval… me parece tremendamente importante”, dice el jefe de Estado, mientras el hombre le recuerda el asesinato de la comunicadora.

El manifestante, ante el público presente, señala que “Carabineros de Chile no actuó, el Ministerio de Interior, que es parte de la querella, no ha solicitado ninguna diligencia en la investigación, para encontrar justicia para nuestra compañera periodista asesinada… y nos están hablando de libertad de expresión y libertad de prensa el día de hoy. Es una burla, señor presidente”.

“No es una burla, señor. Y acá venimos a defender la libertad de prensa (…) y acá tenemos el nombre de Francisca Sandoval (…). Le pido por favor que nos permita continuar con esto, porque Francisca Sandoval es justamente un gran ejemplo de lo que tenemos que defender (…) y yo he estado con su familia”, le manifestó el presidente Boric.

Es en ese momento cuando el hombre le pide al Mandatario que diga la verdad. “Estoy diciendo la verdad y por eso me paro acá”, le dijo el jefe de Estado, recalcándole además que Francisca no fue asesinada por Carabineros.

Finalmente, el manifestante señaló que “no hay una investigación real”, mientras que Boric le señala a los presentes que “esto es parte de la libertad de prensa y es parte de la libertad de expresión”.
