Mersin’in Erdemli ilçe belediyesi, ilki 2015 yılında gerçekleştirilen geleneksel uçurtma şenliğini bu yıl 5 bin uçurtma dağıtarak gerçekleştirdi.

Çocuklar ve aileleri etkinliğin düzenlendiği ilçe sahilindeki Devlet Bahçeli Meydanı’na akın etti. Sahil şeridinde gökyüzü uçurtmalarla şenlendi. Ailelerinde büyük ilgi gösterdiği şenlikte çocuklar doyasıya eğlendi.

Erdemli Belediye Başkanı Mustafa Kara, ilçede çocuklara yönelik etkinlikleri arttırarak devam ettireceklerini belirtti. Kara, “Bugün 5 bin tane uçurtmamızı çocuklarımıza dağıttık. Tabi onların mutlu olması bizleri de mutlu ediyor. Geleneksel olarak düzenlediğimiz uçurtma şenliğini bu sene de düzenledik. Yoğun bir ilgi var, Erdemli halkından, çocuklarımızdan. Çocuklarımıza yapılan yatırım geleceğimize yapılan yatırımdır. Çocuklarımıza yönelik etkinliklerimizi arttıracağız” dedi.
