In the wake of the Fallout TV series premiere, Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4 is getting a massive update on Thursday, April 25. Fallout 4 was first released nearly a decade ago, but it is still beloved by fans of the franchise. Many fans have been looking forward to returning to the Commonwealth with the game’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S update, though the wait has been longer than expected.

Originally, the Fallout 4 next-gen update was supposed to come last year, but as 2023 came to a close, it became clear that fans were going to have to wait until 2024 for the open world RPG to get its long-awaited upgrade.
