End of an era confirmed for Moira in Emmerdale

end of an era confirmed for moira in emmerdale

Things are changing (Picture: ITV)

In a tearful moment with Emmerdale husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) an exhausted and defeated, and financially crippled Moira (Natalie J Robb) admitted she needed to sell the farm. Now that day has come, her farming legacy is over – all thanks to Caleb (Will Ash).

Caleb sabotaged the machinery which resulted in the burgers being laced with metal. This destroyed the last shreds of Moira’s reputation as her final customer pulled their contract. This was a fatal move for her already struggling business.

Thus the fate of Butler’s was sealed and Moira was forced to crawl to Kim and ask her to buy the land. She told Cain it was a blessing in disguise as she wouldn’t wish the stress of farming life on Kyle and Isaac, who haven’t seen her for weeks as she’s been working so hard. But in reality she’s giving up a little part of her soul.

Caleb actor Will Ash confessed a little secret to Metro.co.uk that hints Caleb isn’t all bad and that Moira and Cain may not be sunk forever.

He said: ‘Caleb’s intention is that once he cleans Kim out, he will pay them back and he’ll sort it out financially. That’s his master plan.’

So he does have a good side after all? Could we see Moira and Cain moving into Home Farm?
