Emmerdale fans 'work out' Danny Miller's ITV soap exit storyline after Ben's murder

He’s starred on ITV’s Emmerdale for the past thirteen years, but actor Danny Miller, who plays fan favourite Aaron Dingle, recently revealed he’s waving goodbye to the village.

Now the ITV soap has teased Aaron’s explosive exit storyline, revealing the fallout from his on-screen boyfriend Ben Tucker’s (Simon Lennon) recent murder will prompt him to think about leaving the Dales.

As Ben’s unhinged killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) hides in plain sight, Aaron struggles to cope. And with his sister Liv (Isobel Steele) also at rock bottom with her courtcase, Aaron decides the village has brought him nothing but pain and considers packing up for good.

Meanwhile, his mum Chas (Lucy Pargeter) tries to be a support to her son and convince him they can get through the tough time together. But will he decide to stay or go?

Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans think they’ve cracked the case, as they’ve picked up on some subtle hints that could point to why Aaron quits the village – predicting that Liv will be accused of killing Ben, which will tip her older brother over the edge.

Putting forward their theory, one armchair detective wrote: “Aaron will think Liv killed Ben.. maybe he can’t get over that and that’s why he leaves. Hoping they can build bridges before tho.. Aaron doesn’t deserve all this heartbreak.”

Another added: “Most likely Liv will have the blame. Meena killed Ben, not Liv!”

Meanwhile, a third soap fan said they could see Liv being framed for the crime following her recent drunken outbursts.

“I have an awful feeling that Liv is going to be accused of Ben’s death after their argument.”

While Emmerdale viewers will have to wait and see whether they are onto something, Danny, who is currently appearing on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, recently opened up about his decision behind leaving the ITV soap.

He explained: “I’ve actually left Emmerdale and unfortunately decided to start a new path in life.”

“I’ve got my baby now and I’m getting married next year and it felt like the right time to open a new chapter in my life.”

“It feels so strange telling people because I haven’t really talked about it. I feel quite emotional about it actually.”

The new dad also explained that he was ready for new challenges, including being a contestant on I’m a Celeb, fronted by Ant and Dec.

Danny went on: “I’ve wanted to spread my wings for a while and a show like [I’m A Celebrity] gives me the opportunity to see what else happens after.”
