Kaizer Chiefs interim head coach Cavin Johnson has opened up about the club’s January transfer window plans.
The Glamour Boys have struggled to close the glaring gap between themselves and rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers lifted the MTN8 title already this season, while Mamelodi Sundowns also lifted the inaugural African Football League trophy.
Despite looking well off the pace, Johnson is adamant his side don’t need to bolster their squad.

“Like I said earlier, I’m not interested in getting any players at the moment. We need to work with what we have, make sure that they come to the party and make sure that they believe that they are Kaizer Chiefs players,” Cavin Johnson said, as quoted by SoccerLaduma.
“And that’s what we gonna work on during the break and now we’ve got a little bit of a holiday.
“I think five or ten days, we get back and we’ve got a little pre-season camp and we see what happens when we come back.”
